Nel mio disegno ho cercato di mostrare come diverse generazioni affrontano i crescenti problemi idrici legati al cambiamento climatico. Naturalmente, non tutte le generazioni sono uguali, ma spero di incoraggiare le persone a pensare un po’ di più. Il mondo nell’acqua è bianco e nero, e quello sopra l’acqua è colorato. La generazione più anziana che sta versando acqua da una tazza di the inclinata ha poca esperienza circa l’incremento dei problemi idrici e a volte contribuisce a peggiorare la situazione. La generazione di mezzo è consapevole della situazione ma tende a ignorarla. E sono le generazioni più giovani ad affrontare i maggiori problemi: ne va del loro futuro.

In my drawing, I have tried to show how different generations face rising water problems linked to climate change. Of course, not every one of every generation is the same, but I hope to encourage people to think a little more. The world in the water is black and white, and the one above the water has colour. The older generation pouring water from a tilted tea cup has little experience with rising water problems and sometimes helps to make it worse. The middle generation knows the problems but tends to ignore them. And the youngest generation experiences the most problems: it is about their future.
