Porta seconda d’ingresso nel Castello fortemente guernita,
e bene travagliata di ferro, dietro la quale v’è la Saracinesca.
La prima è quasi uguale, ma più liscia, benché forte al pari”.

“The secondary entrance is strongly armoured and well
forged-out in iron. Behind it there is the portcullis.
The main entrance is almost identical, but smoother,
though as sturdy as the other.”
